First and foremost Szedi is a child of God. She is infinitely Loved by her Lord, just as each of us is.
Szedi is the middle child in a family of 5. Her unique name reflects her mother’s Hungarian heritage and is as special as she is. She shared her life with her four siblings-Sam, Szofi, Iza and her youngest bother, Andrew-whom she loves dearly.
She is athletic, intelligent, funny, and wonderfully goofy. Her love of sports is likely fueled by countless days spent on baseball field cheering for and spending time with her brother. Standing nearly six feet tall. with bright blue eyes, long legs, and beautiful blonde hair, Szedi is hard to miss. More often than not, her hair is pulled back in a ponytail as she raced from school to home, sports practices and every adventure between.
At The Szedi Roush Foundation, we believe every young person deserves to know they are loved, valued, and never alone.
Founded in memory of Szedi Roush, our mission is to bring hope to struggling youth, support families, raise awareness about youth suicide, and help communities recognize the challenges facing today’s generation.
Through faith, education, advocacy, and outreach, we are committed to turning tragedy into purpose and helping others find hope in their darkest moments. #lovemore

We provide compassionate support, practical resources, and meaningful connections to help parents navigate difficult seasons with hope, understanding, and the reassurance that there is a community standing beside them.
Teen Resources
Every teen is uniquely created, deeply loved, and never beyond hope. We connect young people with trusted resources, caring mentors, and faith-based encouragement to help them navigate life's challenges, strengthen their mental well-being, and discover the hope found in Christ.

Strong families build strong communities. We walk alongside families with encouragement, practical resources, and Christ-centered support, helping them navigate grief, strengthen relationships, and find hope together through every season.
